Description
Sericis Cepas Viejas Monastrell is ideal to accompany red meats, game meats, traditional stews, spicy dishes and highly cured strong cheeses.
Serve this wine between 16 and 18ºC.
Grape variety: 100% Monastrell
Alcoholic Graduation: 14% vol.
Available in: 750ml
Collection manually. Destemming and soft crushing of the grapes. Pre-fermentation maceration at low temperature for 3-4 days, addition of selected yeasts, controlling the fermentation at a maximum temperature of 26ºC. Discovered after 21 days in maceration. Aging for a minimum of 12 months in new French oak barrels.
Tasting Notes
- Color: Intense red with purple tones.
- Aroma: Aroma of high intensity, highlighting the very ripe fruit on a very elegant toasted oak background.
- Flavor: Fleshy, complex, with an unctuous mid palate, balanced tannins and a roasted finish.
